Harp Teaching

For over twenty five years Rebeca has taught adults and children; beginners and advanced pupils, both in schools and now privately at home.

Whilst a student at the Royal College of Music, she gained an ARCM harp teaching diploma and subsequently a GRSM(Hons) music degree.

Her teaching is based on the belief that a good, solid playing technique will allow players to perform with confidence, and so enjoy making music.

Learning to play the harp requires perseverance and much dedication, and despite the hard work, lessons are always enjoyable; Rebeca works with pupils at their own pace, adapts to their individual needs, and has gained much experience in teaching students with many different characters and learning requirements.

Pupils achieve successful results in The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Examinations Grade 1 to 8, and have also attained continued success in the Performance Diploma.

Students are encouraged to perform, and have been invited to participate in the massed harp ensemble performances at the Claygate Music Festival – an amazing experience for all!

It is a huge amount of work for you I know, but so much appreciated by all of us, and people talk about it for ages afterwards – I guess you will just have to do it all over again!
